Call for volunteers willing to go to Haiti

SEAOH Members,

NCSEA, the National Council of Structural Engineering Associations, has
requested a list of volunteers who may be willing to go to Haiti on behalf
of organizations such as the Red Cross and other volunteer groups.  ATC-20
training and passports are required.  The lists will be used for future
requests, not for immediate departure.  Volunteers will go in organized
groups, after arrangements have been made through US government liaisons who
are working with the Haitian government.

NCSEA (and SEAOH) is not validating or endorsing any of these 'missions',
but is simply acting as a clearing house to help facilitate the
dissemination of information regarding needs of the overseas organizations.
The organizations looking for help will provide the volunteers with the
logistical support needed for their mission including, but not limited to:
transportation, security, food, water, shelter, equipment list, etc.
Details of any deployment logistics (duration, etc.) would be provided when
the need arises.

Please reply to seaoh@lava.net by Friday, February 5, 2010, if you are
interested and would like to be placed on SEAOH's list of potential
volunteers to be deployed.
